This basic vinaigrette can be enhanced with your favourite herbs and seasonings such as basil, mustard, and salt. Excellent tossed in a Greek salad. Balsamic vinegar gives a slightly sweet dark richness to recipes, making it a great flavour for olive-based foods. For a basic dressing, mix 3 tablespoons garlic balsamic vinegar with ¼ cup olive oil and 1 teaspoon lemon juice.
